Personal Research Sessions with Reference Librarians

Halloween was last week, but it’s not too late for one more scary thought: research paper due dates rushing at you on a rapidly disappearing semester calendar! But before you run away screaming in horror, remember that librarians are available for Personal Research Sessions to assist you in finding lots of useful sources in the library or on the Internet. Whether you are doing a senior thesis or a first year seminar (or anything in between), we’re happy to help. Just visit us at https://www.wesleyan.edu/libr/services/makeappointment.html (or look for the link to “Meet with a librarian” on the library’s home pagehttps://www.wesleyan.edu/libr/), tell us what you are working on and when you can meet one of us, and we will help you find some good sources to start with and show you where to go to find more. So now you can look forward to a relaxing and peaceful Thanksgiving. Or at least Christmas.

Subject: Financial Aid Open House, 10/28/19

Hello everyone,

I hope this email finds you well! I am writing to let you know that on Monday, October 28th the Financial Aid Office will be holding an Open House for students from 2-4pm in our office. This is geared towards financial aid recipients, but all are welcome. This is not a presentation or information session, but more of a meet and greet so students can have an opportunity to put faces to names of everyone in the Financial Aid Office, primarily the class directors.

We will have a table set up in the front of our office with baked goods and a raffle for some Wesleyan swag for the students, so if you have students waiting to see you or in your office, please encourage them to also come by the Financial Aid Office. And don’t hesitate to come down the hall for a treat yourselves!

There may be some additional traffic or noise during this event, so please let us know if that is an issue, and if you have any other questions or concerns, please let me or Robyn (copied on this email) know.

Best,
Sarah
