Employment Opportunity during Homecoming Family Weekend

Good Afternoon,

As this year’s HCFW interns, we are preparing for the process of hiring student workers for this incredibly important weekend. We are publishing the application today, Friday, September 20th, so that students who are interested have a 2-week period in which they can apply to work for the weekend. Applications will close on Friday, October 4th at 5 pm.

However, we need your help in spreading the word! If possible, we would like to ask you to help us advertise to your respective class years by email and class blog in order to create the best pool of candidates. Below you will find the relevant information, including a short description of what working for that weekend is like (for those who may not know), and a message that can be sent to students.

Please feel free to reach out if anything is unclear or if there are any questions!

Best,
Interns

Potential jobs include greeting guests at the registration site, assisting with activity and event preparation, escorting guests around campus in shuttle vans, and much more!

There will be a mandatory student employee meeting on Wednesday, October 30th at 5:00 PM in the Woodhead Lounge in Exley Science Center. If you are hired, you must attend this meeting to receive your work schedules, event staff T-shirt, and other important event information.
